Hey Red Sox fans!

I'm a Massachusetts native out on the West Coast and haven't gotten to see many Red Sox games this season.

But I just got the MLB premium subscription and amazingly I can go back and watch just about any game - I'm watching the late August series vs. Yankees right now.

What are the best Red Sox games of 2009 that I should watch, other than those against Yankees?

I am interested in exciting games, so whatever you can suggest for best games of 2009, I'd appreciate that enormously!

Thanks Red Sox Nation

Wakefield's complete game at Oakland on 4/15 is a good place to start. Not only does it touch off a long winning streak, but we'd had several subpar starts in a row before that making it an incredibly clutch performance by Timmy.

No. If anything can be described as a terrible win, that game was it. Between Tek's shoddy defense, Ramirez' subsequent meltdown, and the consistent way in which the bullpen seemed to intentionally sabotage the team, it was a wonder they won, and they did it on a borderline strike call and a couple dribblers and bloops.

That is how the cookie crumbles sometime. I am sure they were a game or two we lost this year by a borderline call.

and they found a way to win anyway, making it an excellent game.
