With the bases loaded and one out, the tarp is coming on the field. Jon Lester has thrown 24 pitches, and if the delay lasts a while, his night could be awkwardly cut short. If that's the case, it's going to really burn the Sox.

 

And here is the radar map. It doesn't look good. Note that the weather is moving from south to north, and there's a whole bunch of rain in the south.

Actually, Amalie Benjamin & others at the park say that Lester will pitch Sunday's 5pm game, if his arms "feels good."

 

Also: Beckett tomorrow, Buchholz at noon Sunday, Lester at 5 Sunday. Daisuke on Tuesday.

 

And...Mother Nature can still suck it. hehe...but at least I have no plans on Sun. (unlike Sat.) so I can see the double header.
