Hey' date=' welcome to the site. The GT is indeed where it's at.[/quote']

Thanks man.

In my short career as a member of the forum the Sox have struggled lol. Strike em out throw em out, ground out, and now Buccholz with a lead off walk. Down to Millar 3-0 now...

I just noticed that Buchholz's only 2 wins of the season have come against the Blue Jays. If he's lucky enough to get the win tonight all 3 of his wins would be vs. Toronto. Hmmm.

I guess we'll have to save him for Toronto...

FYI tito is the one had Drew stealing there

that's on tito NOT Drew

I know, I know....it's just not as fun to say.

Tito needs a crash course on the fundamentals of baseball as well.

Would you send him a email or something? My lord this has been ugly with the O.

Maybe he was just trying to shift some s*** around by sending Drew. Obviously everything else they've tried thus far hasn't worked.

If Buchholz can continue pitching well the remainder of the season' date=' maybe he'll be a considerable #3 next year.[/quote']

I could see Clay being very, very good if he keeps his confidence up. I really blame Farrell for changing his arm angle last year. If it wasn't for that, i think he would have been really good for the Sox last year.

Yeah I totally agree. It's tough for a pitcher who's been accustomed to a certain motion to suddenly change it. He's still crazy young, so you can certainly see him being really good down the road.

What is it w/Youk and being hit by pitches? I know now and then it's sometimes intentional but it's like he must exude baseball pheromones in his sweat or something.

Welcome!!

Thanks! :D:D:D

Buccholz is looking really good tonight. On the other side, thankfully Romero is at 100 pitches already.

No kidding.. Maybe they will be able to get some runs off the BP.

I don't know if the gun is any different or what, but he seems to be throwing harder than usual tonight. Just touched 95 on that last pitch.

I think it was his last start or the start before that he was hitting 96 a few times, with his change dropping to 78-82.

Sure seems like it. It's the best he's looked since his no-no, imo.

Yeah I guess he does run it up there a few times every start. It seems like he has some pretty good velocity tonight. And that change to Hill on what I think was a 1-0 count was ridiculous too. He's got it working tonight.
