When can we say "Game Over"?

 

...when the game is over? If you can't handle watching 9 whole innings of baseball, then don't watch the rest. Or maybe you could turn on the TV half way through the game or something.

Thank you. Thus far I haven't broken anything. I can surprise myself sometimes. We just totally suck balls today. At least it's a deserved loss instead one of those heart wrenching close ones that we should have realistically won. Then again losing at home to a crappy team is never ok. F*** it all.

They had a fly over over F-16's at Fenway on the fourth when I was there. Now THAT was cool (I wanted to be a fighter pilot when I was younger). I'm glad they announced there was going to be a fly over first though. There was a little tension given that it was the 4th of July in Boston. N. Korea for one' date=' always tests missiles on the fourth. It's would be a prime target for a terrorist attack. I can't imagine how crazy everyone would be if they heard a rocket sound coming towards the ballpark.[/quote']

 

North Korea targeting Boston? Nah.

 

I've seen many fly-overs. Having been to about 20+ NASCAR events. Wicked f***ing loud.

More like I can't handle constant whining. Seriously, how short a memory do you have? Do you remember when you bitched and moaned the entire game 3 of the most recent Baltimore series and then ate your words when the Red Sox came back in the 9th?

 

You act like you became a fan of the team after 2004 sometimes.

It may happen. But the game is not over just yet. This line-up sucks big green donkey dicks.

The Sox are asleep and need some punch right now to get back into it.

I wasn't talking about North Korea specifically, mostly any group that doesn't like America. The country's birthday in it's birthplace would be a prime target for terrorist attacks I'd think.

 

Surprisingly, the fly over wasn't that loud.

Although I am not enjoying the game right now and don't expect to win, don't forget about game 2 against the Orioles. A dead offense can wake up quick...

The races I was at (Dover Downs, Delaware 1984-1993) always had 5 F-16s fly over at about 1000 ft. That was loud.

And how many times did you say that game was over? If you think the game's over then please stop watching it. If you don't think the game's over, and are still watching it, then please stop whining that the game's over. It's really annoying to see someone claim the game's over in the 4th inning and then continue to watch the game and complain the next 5 innings.

Smoltz has been saying that he took extra time in his rehab, because he wanted to be able to dominate when he returned. From what I have seen in his three starts, I don't think he has the stuff to dominate.

He looks like a 5 now. Maybe he gets his stuff together. It's bad timing now with the Yankees and Rays hot.

 

Still a long way to go.
