Boston Red Sox (46-28) vs. Atlanta Braves (34-40) 1:35 PM.

Brad Penny 6-2, 4.93 ERA, 1.55 WHIP vs. Tommy Hanson 3-0, 3.13 ERA, 1.61 WHIP.

Penny's ERA is 1.62 in his last 3 starts. Hanson has won 3 in a row.

Reports out of Atlanta say that Hanson is sick (undisclosed ailment) and may not be able to pitch Sunday. If that's the case, fellow Rookie Kris Medlen will likely get the nod.

Kris Medlen 2-3, 6.12 ERA, 1.52 WHIP.

Get out the brooms. The Sox head to Baltimore on a role.

Amalie Benjamin has gotten a bit of a makeover. No glasses and a different hairdo. Next she needs to get the nose done. I kinda liked that librarian look she had.

Me too. Hanson is gonna be a good one.

well actually looking at his numbers , he isnt that good

he has a 1.61 WHIP , he has control problem . walked 15 batters in 23IP to only 16K

I said he is going to be good; he was ranked the 13th best prospect by BP.

Hanson should feint by the 3rd inning if he is sick.

His velocity is way down. I'm hoping he vomits in the second.

Nick Green > Alex Cora

I don't know where it's coming from, and I don't care. But he can suddenly play defense.

Why discuss it now?

His defense, or that he's better than Cora?

EDIT: I'm watching the national feed, they were just talking about Green.

It seems that he is becoming accustomed to playing short as apposed to 2nd, his natural position. I just don't understand why Cora is being brought up.

Because he was our last backup infielder. And even though he couldn't hit or play much defense anymore, our front office/Francona insisted on keeping him around because he was such a "smart" baseball player.
