You have officially managed to piss people off and have others defend you...I'd say that's journalism.

 

I don't give a damn about your grammar or spelling (along with anyone else who posts in an open forum) but love the fact you're so passionate about the sox, thats all that matters. And I'm officially a f*** for reading the whole post, along with each and every reply to it. But I'm a little disappointed in your Memorable Moment, I've gone thru years of therapy to forget that.

 

Here's my 2 cents about wake. Take a look at the man's contract and tell me if thats someone who just loves to play baseball, and appreciates he's playing a game (for $4mil a year....every year)

Flawed post, but it's an internet forum, not a column for ESPN or SI, and we all know how great all their writers are...

 

I just have to ask, though, did you actually watch the Sox back in '03, because I just can't imagine how you could have screwed that up. The first thing that pops into my head when thinking about that '03 team was that bomb.

 

I agree on you're feelings about Wake. I love him, he's a great guy, great bargain, but I disagree a little bit to the extent of "misery" when Wake is pitching bad. I personally don't get worked up, because I expect his fair share of awful outings and the amazing outings completely outweigh the bad, in my mind.

 

The guys I can't stand to watch pitch poorly are our Aces (Beckett, Lester). The beginning of this season was far worse (to watch) than any bad outing(or stretches) from Wake. I have to mention Dice-K, all the walks (and recent suck) are almost unbearable.
