Let's win this one and one more on the road. Looking forward to the 6 home games but not interleague play. We have 9 games in NL stadiums, will be interesting to see what they do with regards to Papi in those games.

Get out the broom!

With regards to Papi in NL stadiums. That's a no-brainer. Sit him down.

If he sniffs the field, I will be so effing pissed.

You guys are right about Papi, unless there is a HUGE change between now and then. Don't want to take Youk or Lowell's bat out of the line up.

This is a total guess' date=' but I would say: 4 games is Youk/Lowell, 3 games is Ortiz/Youk, 2 games is Ortiz/Lowell.[/quote']

I cant see that , especially if he keeps sucking until then

The reason I say that is because not only will we be missing Lowell's or Youk's bat because of Ortiz, the massive downgrade defensively at 1B is also an issue. The only reason he even played 1B during interleague was because we wanted the bat in the lineup. Now? Not so much.

Yeah, the defense is another big issue. The way I have it, Youk plays 7/9, Lowell 6/9 and Ortiz 5/9. Considering they've only sat Ortiz a couple times this year I thought that was reasonable. But I could see it at 4/9.
