Ortiz is hitting the ball hard of late. His power is gone (as evidenced by the ball he absolutely crushed and was caught on the warning track)' date=' but if he can turn into a line drive hitter and bring the average up, he might be useful[/quote']

Come on. You're a Doctor. His power is gone? The put-out your refer to was a high drive to the deepest part of the field. 30-40 ft to the right and it was gone. He is not hitting well. Period. His contact has been more solid the last few games. But until (if) he starts hitting more line shot doubles and more hr I won't be convinced that he is "back".

What made me think he got it was the way he acted after contact. It looked like he felt he got enough. I can draw off my own playing experience. There may have been one homer I hit in my entire life that I didnt think I got enough. And very few times did I not get one out when I thought I did. Makes me think he got enough in his head and it just didnt go out. Papi in his prime doesnt care about the dimensions. His homers usually soar out of the park

AmalieBenjamin- "That last foul ball was just out of reach of those of us in the press box. Would have had to jump out the window to catch it. Not worth it." - She's funny. :)

Rocco makes up for it with that HR. Awesome.

It's just basically hurrah or hooray. CoDisc introduced it to the board, if I recall correctly. I had never heard it before.
