I find the Rays to actually be a likeable team.

 

Last year I was depressed about the Rays, wondering "how can a team with THAT payroll beat a team with all the advantages like the Sox?"

 

Now I think I know. They have used their draft picks well and have added some nice pieces along the way. Adding Kazmir, Navarro and Pena has been huge, and drafting guys like Upton and Longoria will make any team very good.

They are a likeable team when they're not kicking our ass. They're a perfect example of how to construct a baseball team. And they have Price and Beckham coming up, among other prospects.
