The Yankees are an embarassment. Empty seats behind home plate against the Sox? Ticket prices to back up their enormous payroll. Fans who say "at least our team spends the money we make" but don't follow up with "and our fans end up paying for it with s***** ticket prices, obstructed views, overpaid players and a lack of wins".

 

Even if this team turns it on this year, they're embarassing. Their new stadium lacks any of the character that the old one had and it is already a pretty uninteresting place from a casual observer's point of view.

 

Overall I'm just very unimpressed.

I'm pretty sure I know the answer, but is BOS/NYA called strike referring to that team's hitters or pitchers? i.e., does red triangle mean strike called for Joba? I assume it does.

I'm going sometime this summer with some family who has partial season tickets--pretty excited even though my first impressions are negative. I'm just glad I got to go to the old one.
