I agree. The only problem is you take a guy who is having some control issues and put him in a bases loaded situation where he needs to throw strikes. I disagree with the move, but I see the rationale behind it. You shouldn't talk about it as if there is no reason not to walk Bay.

 

Anyway, this was Burnett's problem last year. His ERA was what it was not because of he consistent in that range, but because he was usually dominant with the exception of a few awful starts.
