Can't be any worse than when it was Pistons vs Spurs. That was just terrible and I never watched one game.

 

At least with the Nuggets and Magic you'd have Howard and Melo.

How was Pistons and Spurs bad in any way? It went 7 games and had at least three very intense games. I enjoyed that series quite a bit.

I'm talking in terms of the NBA people and the network people it was terrible. Small market team in SA and a defensive inded team in Detroit and you had game that didn't draw in the average fan.

Is it just me as a nuggets fan or has the officiating gotten awfully one sided?

I can't help but be a little irked that in the NBA, a good finals matchup is dependent on the players, not on the teams and what kind of performances they deliver. Was the NFL pissed off that the Cardinals were in the Super Bowl? What about the Astros and White Sox in 05 for baseball, I don't remember them being too unhappy with that. I know the NBA isn't as bigtime as those two, but it still irritates me quite a bit.

I would guess MLB wasn't too pleased with the 2005 WS, since no really well known team was in it. Chicago is a big market, but the White Sox are obviously second to the Cubs.

Houstons a huge market too, but you're right... I think that world series did very very poorly ratings. It sure didn't interest me at all.

I have no love for either team but would like to see The Magic advance just to shut-up all the people that projected the Cavs to be Eastern Conference Champions. Plus, it would be nice to see Magic/ Nuggets .
