I don't know if anyone here has seen the Debbie Downer sketch from SNL (one of the funniest things I've ever seen on SNL, I recommend checking it out), but the sound effect from it is all I can think of when I read his posts. I was even going to suggest a new profile picture for him a few days ago.

I can understand the negativity considering the site...but come on Yankees228, things are good right now. Enjoy it before the playoffs roll around, when we'll all be biting our nails down to the hand. That Swisher comment was a step in the right direction though. :thumbsup:

I don't know why they're talking about that like it was a perfect throw. If it was off line. If it's on target Alex is out by even more. He pretty much got as good a jump as you could hope for, he's just pretty slow at this point.

Unbelievable. CC, Burnett, Joba, and Pettitte had to get right in the middle of that. Who knows what could have happened. Very selfish on the part of Jorge Posada.

How can they get more than five games if Youkilis got five games for charging the mound and throwing his helmet at the pitcher?

you have to be kidding your eyes are clouded. the umpire saw it before the fight. he got tossed before the fight. posada had a lot of time to relax. he just had sand in his vagina. geez. suck it up dont throw the elbow nothing happens.

Posada bumped into the guy....with so much force that the Blue Jay pitcher wasn't even moved. Youk throwing his helmet at a pitcher was just as bad, if not worst. They're both wrong and both took dumb risks that could hurt their team.

I never said Posada was in the right, however it is no worse than what Youkilis did. I highly doubt he gets more than five games.
