Wow. I don't think this has ever been done before. The Lions reached a new and unprecedented suck this year. I know the Bucs went 0-14 one year and when asked what he thought about the execution of the squad the coach said "Yes please!" But I think this is the first 16-game season that a team has not scored a single regular season victory in. And this after the Tigers' hideously underwhelming season.

So who wants to be a Lions fan? Kinda makes the Pats missing the playoffs look like chump change!

At least they have the Wings and Pistons.

The Pats missing the playoffs is chump change. Nobody makes the playoffs every year.

Yeah I mentioned that in the OP and there was an interview at one point in that stretch where the coach was asked what he felt about the execution of his team and he said "Yes, please do."

HEard on ESPN Radio this am that a reporter who covers the Lions asked the head coach, who's son in law is the D-Cooordinator, if he wished his daughter had married a better Defensive coordinator.

Pretty funny, particularly because he meant it very tongue in cheek, but apparently there was outrage and this reporter ending up resigning.

I heard about that too... didn't know he ended up resigning. Can nobody take a joke anymore?
