Nah, I didn't. Too many things working against them. Just came off of a long road trip, have been playing flat, Billups has been awful, Smith hasn't been shooting well, and Nene out. At least with Garnett out, the Celtics have capable bodies to fill in. Johan Petro hardly ever even checks into a game, so him starting the game was a joke. Ball coming right to him and Rondo and Rondo pulls down the board. How does that even happen? Nuggets just had no energy tonight.

to walk into phoenix and denver and just pummel them without kg is a statement in itself.

Nice to have a little height off the bench by having Moore now. The Marbury thing isn't official yet, but I think it's close.

Marbury is low risk high reward.

 

He's gonna be playing for a contract (potentially his last pay day) and we all know how much he loves his money. Also I have a feeling that he'll want to stick it to the Knicks big time. Worst case scenario he brings his ego and we cut his ass.

He is going to be playing his butt off just to spite the Knicks and how that situation was mis-handled. I just don't see him causing any problems, because like it was already stated, we can just cut him whenever.

I'm not sure. I doubt Danny would cut him though, even if the rules allowed it (pride s***). If he really wanted to make Joe Smith he would probably release Pruitt or something (which would be a mistake).

Danny wouldn't cut Pruitt, both him and Doc love the kid. Moore or Marbury can be cut at any time without repercussion if I remember right...

GMs aren't very quick to recognize and rectify mistakes they made a week earlier. So I read.

But he can shoot, and he can play some defense. I liked him as a small two-guard/off-guard for the future (not a nucleus player, but a nice sixth man).

The game against the Cavs was just crazy. The C's played incredible despite not having KG, losing big baby early, losing Rondo for a while, and an incredible free throw disparity.......I thought Tommy H was going to kill someone

KG shut down for foreseeable future:

 

Word out of Waltham today is that Celtics forward Kevin Garnett will be shutdown for foreseeable future. A date for KG returning to practice, or games for that matter, is unknown.

 

Danny Ainge will join Michael Holley on "Celtics Now" Wednesday at 6pm to talk about the latest developments.

No biggie to me. 2 or 3 seed - this team when healthy beats Orlando in 6 or less.

 

I'd rather get the 3 seed and have to face Philly instead of Detroit, then squash Orlando, and take my chances vs. the Cavs.

 

As long as they're healthy they can still win this thing, but if not, it's gonna be tough to watch.
