Ainge is a f***ing dumbass. Wake up, make a f***ing move. You make a move (like signing Marbury, I don't care at this point) to take the team's mind off the recent losses. But no, you're just going to sit in your office with your thumb in your ass and hope they 'fight through it' while Cleveland, L.A. and Orlando zip by them. Real smart.

^^Ainge doesn't NEED to make a room.

This team is tired and worn down. They're hitting other teams in the mouth and then those teams are coming back and hitting us in the nose, and its not working this year like it did last year.

It's January, why the hell is everyone panicing.

I'm not 'panicing'. A big part of losing streaks (or 5 out of 7 stretches like this) is psychology. Ainge needs to make a move to take the team's mind off the recent losses and get things right. Stuff like that works.

Dude...EVERY team goes trough a rough stretch trough the season

they started 27-2 , they were bound to lose a few . the Celts will be fine . no moves is needed ... Christ are you kidding me , complaining from a 29-7 record

Oh. Yeah, that's perfect. The Celtics have lost a slew of games to sub-par teams, but Danny Ainge shouldn't do a damn thing.

I'm just suggesting that he just make a minor roster move, for the sole purpose of getting the Celtics' heads away from the losing streak and get them focusing on their new teammate. Or maybe Doc can pull out a baseball strategy and get tossed from a game. Psychology is a large part of the game, buddy.

No, I'll just sit pretty and not think about a way to end the skid. I'll except this slop for what it is. f*** improvement.

Psychology is a large part of the game. Its a move to shake up the current pulse of the team, and hopefully get them winning.

I could have sworn I already covered this. I could be wrong, though.

so you're freaking out about the celts making a move ( who are in better shape than the redsox in their sport) but yet you're fine with the redsox standing still and not to make a BIG move

What in the name of hell are you talking about?

Well then what do you propose? All of the current moves we could potentially make, Marbury, Miles, Fred Jones, Paul Davis, Austin Croshere, etc., all have panic written across their foreheads.

you were totaly fine with the sox failing on Tex , that it wasent a big loss

but yet you want the celts to do something when their having an awsome season and have a good shot to re-peat

Because that's investing a shitload of time and money into a player who, when it boils down to it, is much more luxury than need for the Sox.

Yes I do want them to do something. I don't want them to make a high-risk, stupid move. That's all.

We were talking about signing Marbury anyways, weren't we? That's the move to make. Dikembe was the only big man out there I really wanted. If Tony's injury is anything more than day-to-day, call Giddens/Walker back up.

I don't mind Marbury. People are underrating him a lot. IMO he's been a career loser because he's always been the best player on his teams (aside from Minny with KG which IIRC they had marginal success). People look at his attitude and say this and that but I think with Paul Kevin and Ray, combined with Doc and Thibs, they can harness him and turn him into good. I've supported signing him just as much as anyone else, and even I think it's a panic move.

Right now our second unit doesn't need Marbury. We're scoring fine, it's our defense which has been suffering. We're getting killed on the boards (even worse, the offensive boards) having our 3 biggest guys on the floor with the second unit be hardly 6'8 (Davis) and 6'9 (Powe). Instead of looking for their shots, they're trying to draw contact, which is leading to misses, especially on noncalls, that hurts us.

We need length on the second unit. Eddie is fine, Pruitt needs to see more burn, especially with TA hurt, and should have last night. His 6 minute stuck out like a sore thumb.
