Do not go gentle into that good night,

Old age should burn and rave at close of day;

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,

Because their words had forked no lightning they

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright

Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,

And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight

Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,

Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.

Do not go gentle into that good night.

Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Thanks, that's where I thought I reposted it to begin with.

Posted it in GT then figured we might need it for te next couple games too.

The magnitude of this game makes it "greater", but I remember watching the tail end of Cleveland's 12 run comeback from the 7th on against that record setting Seattle team in 01.

I remember that clear as day. That one game is why I vowed to myself that I would never leave a game early.

Boy did it pay off tonight.

After letting this settle in, lets net get ahead of ourselves. We still NEED Beckett to show up. If he doesnt, this miraclous game was all for not. That being said, I BELIEVE in Beckett, and I think the bats are awake now.

Nice Haiku.

If you turned off this game

Because they trailed by seven runs

You're in for a surprise

Te bandwagoners

Will find out on the morning news

And roundly curse themselves

Because they counted out

A team with Papi, Youk and Crisp

And EFFIN' J. D. DREW!!!
