Cowboys cornerback Adam "Pacman" Jones has been suspended for at least the next four games of Dallas' season for his most recent violation of the league's personal conduct policy., the NFL announced Tuesday.

 

In announcing his decision, NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said Jones' "disturbing pattern of behavior was clearly inconsistent with the conditions I set for your continued participation in the NFL."

Their shaky secondary just got shakier. When is Newman due back? This, Romo, and the upcoming schedule, not to mention TO's starting to whine, and the Cowboys could be in a tough position by mid-season. Lot's of egos on that team to face that kind of adversity in the 2nd half of the season.

They're close to acquiring Roy Williams from the Lions. According to a text update from ESPN, they have acquired him.

I think he didn't mean that Owens is bad off the field. He said he's cancerous, and he is. He means within the team. Owens is a jerk, but not as big as Pacman Jones.

First one for how much they gave up. I was reading the blurbs at rotoworld prior to the trade, and it just sounded like a 1st rounder.

IMO they gave up too much... 4 picks in all I heard, a 1st, 3rd, 6th, and 7th. That's a lot for a guy like Williams.

Williams is still an elite talent, but nobody could get him the ball. Detroit's offense was putrid. I can see a 1st for him, or a couple of mid round picks, but 4 is over the top. Detroit's finally doing this rebuilding s*** right.
