Re: The Angels "proving" why bunting is so good - They got what you need after having a RISP, the bloop with eyes. The Sox pounded balls in consecutive innings with RISP, it just went at someone. That's why the better teams still lose 40% of the time. There's a tremendous amount of luck that decides many ball games.

 

We go tomorrow with our best pitcher for the series win. Rest easy, folks.

Umpire probably is tired. Sox were lucky to stay in this game, they were badly outhit.

 

I'm convinced a healthy Beckett would have killed this team. The only guy they got who's doing anything is Tex, and he's probably gone after the season.

 

Exciting game. Red Sox came up on the short end, but a really exciting game to watch.

 

Although I hate the Red Sox, sorry for my friends here who are Sox fans.

I wouldnt write you guys off, but if you have to fly out to Anaheim then back east to either Tampa or Chicago on short rest then you are gonna be taxed. IIRC, the Angels got to trek across the country, went LA to NY to LA and the next day had a game in CWS which they won. But the rest of the series they were a dead team playin

I dont know, they should have won game two if it wasnt for a ******** call.
