Tonight Byrd has his last start of the season, auditioning for the 4th starter in the playoffs. I heard that Lowrie might get the next couple of days off to work on his swing

Drew's out of the game ....is he injured or was he just in the lineup to get a couple of AB

 

Probably wanted to get a couple ABs and get out of there.

Great win last night, although Byrd wasnt able to take advantage of a quick 4-0 lead and make a case to be the 4th starter over Wakefield. Timlin, Aardsma, MDC got the job done

 

Jeff Bailey and Chris Carter were given ABs and made the most of them, interesting to see a ST battle for the backup 1st base job

 

Pedroia with 20 SBs!!

 

Oh and Baltimore Sucks, last place team for awhile. Couple nights ago they had a 5-1 lead and then gave up 6 runs in the 7th to lose... then last night they led 6-0 but then got manhandled 11-6
