...Because scoring runs is good?

I never said it was a bad thing. And I won't hate them for scoring, but he's making it seem like we need a run or something.

Granted if they score, then yeah, it'll be nice to get some more coushion but as of now I have no worries.

what do you want me to say thumper go up there and make quick outs so we can end it faster

runs right now are a luxury not a need no doubt but that was kind of petty dont you think

The Rays are a good team and 3 runs is no big lead. Runs would be awesome. Lester has also been awesome.

Surprised this gamethread isn't 5+ pages by now.

Anyway, keep it up Lester. And lets put a few more on the board and get some more breathing room.

GT's have been pretty lame since most of the posters went back to school/work.

I know it's not a big lead, but it's still better than a 1-0 lead. It's enough cushion, especially this late in the game that if they score a run, we still have a shot before they'd get ahead.

Yeah, that's a fair assessment.

It bugs the crap out of me that I have a Tuesday night fitness class at 6:25 every week. I always miss the first 6 innings.

Ouch. You in college?

Yeah. I'm a freshman. It's just one of those total BS classes you have to take so I figured I'd get it out of the way. Last week I was playing flag football while the Red Sox were playing baseball. :thumbdown

I'm always around, but I don't like posting in game threads since my computer and the nearest TV that has channels on it are a fair bit away from each other and I don't want to run across the house to post OMG about Pedroia's homer or Youk's triple.

So I'm obviously not watching the game right now. No TVs open. My house sucks camel dick.

Insurance runs are always a good thing. The way Papelbon has been pitching, we need them. Love Paps and all but the way he is giving up hits....we'll never last in the post season. Hopefully he'll be the closer of 2007 again.

Lester is ROCKING!!!!

At least it's flag football and not a real class.

I'll take a 0.87 WHIP still.
