No one seemed to be making a gamethread, so, why not try some reverse dick punching.

Teams: Boston Red Sox vs. Chicago White Sox

Location: U.S. Cellular Field, Chicago, Il

Game Time: 8:11pm EST (Why so f***ing late?)

Viewing: MLB.tv, NESN, WGN Chicago (Which oddly I get reception of...)

Starting Pitchers:

http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/logos/38x45/bos_38x45.gif #19 Josh Beckett, RHP (10-8, 4.08)

http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/logos/38x45/cws_38x45.gif #50 John Danks, LHP (9-4, 3.21)

Scouting Report:

Red Sox: Beckett was impressive in his last start, giving up four hits and two runs over 6 2/3 innings, striking out seven in a win over the Royals. It was Beckett's first victory since July 9. The right-hander has pitched well on the road this season despite a 5-5 record, posting a 3.38 ERA in 12 starts. Beckett is holding opponents to a .256 average.

White Sox: Danks got himself and his club back on track on Wednesday against the Tigers. After a taxing 14-inning game the previous night, Danks gave the White Sox 6 2/3 innings of quality pitching, surrendering just one run on four hits. He walked just one batter and struck out six. He had struggled in his previous three starts since the All-Star break in which he had allowed a combined 14 earned runs. He hasn't faced the Sox this season, but got lit pretty bad twice last year against them. He allowed nine runs in 9 1/3 innings against the Red Sox in 2007, walking five against four strikeouts.

They don't deserve any mojo until they win again.

If we lose tonight I'm blaming you. We need mojo.

Fine. But they don't deserve the mojo. Not until they pick up a win. They have to earn it.

And thanks MSU.

They got a win and you decided not to give them any mojo again you fool

Because that's because I thought it'd work. And it did the second game. So I went with it again last night. Now I'm just taking the mojo away from them.

If not for some newbies - this thread does not reach page 2.

I guess these days it is more fun to post in the Yankee thread.

12 up 12 down. John Danks is their ace, but he's not THIS good.

Wake up offense.

At this point you can try voodoo Pedro Sorano style it won't work. Either everyone on this team lost their talents or Magadans making them worse. A hitting coach earns his check by helping guys when struggling in my opinion. Last year this same s*** happened alot including in the Guardians series. These slumps last way to long he's got to be fired now it's inexcusable now.

Tito must go - must go.

I don't care if we do not make the playoffs - but let the kids play - give them some chance to prove themselves. He always sticks out for overpaid underperforming veterans. Remember how he continued to play with Crisp in world series even with all the outcry to play Ellsbury.

Which of our veteran players is blocking a youngster in this lineup?

Lowell should be in DL - we have better options in minor leagues.

Varitek should not be here - I would like to see Dusty Brown.

Crisp has no business playing with us. He should have been gone in the offseason after his spectacular and surprising defensive surge.

Ortiz seems like he has no interest in the game.

Drew is back to sucking.

Did I miss something?

Edit - My point is at some point it will be clear we are not gonna make it this year. At that point - I want the young guys to play.
