Ken Rosenthal stroking Terry's dick once again. Listen, Tito is like Torre. Kickass in the clubhouse, awful on the field. Wont PH. Wont bring in the right pen guy. Wont help win on the field. But he takes blame better than anyone.

jayhawk, reading is fundamental. After the AS break is the caveat I used. No thinking baseball fan could even consider my quote over the entire yr

I did some checking. Yes, Cano leads qualifying second basemen with a .481 BABIP after the All Star Break.

Was that your point? Do you think that he'll keep that up?

Actually, Torre was much better than Francona as a game manager.

Excepting that, OK. :)

No. I think he'll continue to center the ball. When he is on, he is unreal. And he seems to turn it on after he goes back home during the AS break. Maybe we should send him home a couple days in May and then again in July.

Jacko, his career BABIP is .322. He's going to drop 150 BABIP points even if he continues to hit exactly as well as he has these past few games. That'll bring him back to his normal range of production--and suddenly those VORP figures I posted are very relevant.

I have to give credi where credits due. The Yankees are a much better team then us hitting and bullpen wise. It may just be time to start rooting against Tampa Bay and hoping for a wild card oppertunity cause the Yankees are going to win 95 games easily.

Eat me.

Boston and New York are two of the three best teams in MLB. The third is LAA. There's no shame in a close game with the Yankees, but Boston is just as good as the Yankees.

Schlub swing results in a double from RL Cabrera. That was a foot outside and low. He swings at that and either K's or hits a weak nubber 9 times out of 10. Could have been worse, thanks for running last inning Girardi.

I wish I could agree. We have a feast or famine offense. Our best pure hitter has gotten to the GM to the point where Epsteins running him out of town. The Angels just reemed this team. They have no heart on the road at all. The Yankees have the same amount of losses as us but they win everywhere home or away.

Jeter up to put this team out of it's missery for today.
