Won't be on during the afternoon, so to secure another win, here's tomorrow's game thread.

Game Time: 1:05pm EST

http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/images/logos/38x45/phi_38x45.gif #38 Kyle Kendrick, RHP (6-2, 4.54)

Scouting Report:

Red Sox: In his last start, the right-hander suffered his first loss in the Majors -- but had one of his best outings. He set new career bests in innings (6 2/3) and strikeouts (nine) while walking three. Masterson was undone by the home run ball, giving up long balls to Jay Bruce on a slider and Adam Dunn on a sinker. This could be Masterson's last start if Daisuke Matsuzaka is cleared to return from a mild strain of his right rotator cuff.

Phillies: Kendrick turned in a workmanlike performance while receiving staggering run support in his last outing. The right-hander went seven innings and allowed just two runs (one earned) in a 20-2 win. Kendrick's ability to focus with a big cushion was pleasing to manager Charlie Manuel. The Phils are 10-1 in Kendrick's last 11 starts and 11-4 overall in his starts. Kendrick got through seven innings on 94 pitches and allowed just one walk and eight hits.

All right, let's take 2 from these Phillies.

back to back singles by Ellsbury and Dutty, back to back homers by Drew and Lowell

4-0 Sox

JD Drew is absolutely ridiculous

why was Moss pinching for Coco' date=' any injury?[/quote']

They haven't said anything just yet, although it has to be a tweak of some sort.

Moss into LF with Ellsbury moving to CF.

Pedroia is really starting to rake the ball and if he's doing it in front of Drew, this team is gonna score massive runs

It is being reported that he had some discomfort in his hand, but it is not considered to be serious.

Masterson in a little bit of trouble now. 2nd/3rd one out with the heart of the order coming up.

Philly has cut it to 7-2.

I like how Masterson got out of it with minimal damage though

'Tek cannot buy a hit as of late.

Drew is 4-4. 2 singles, a double, a 3 run shot, and 4 RBI's. If only he could get a triple and hit for the cycle. That would be great considering how bad Philly fans hate him.

Who is replacing Masterson? I'm at work and gameday isn't working for some reason.

Lopez is in and retired Howard, Burrell and Jenkins in order

well, Hansen is back to sucking. I guess I should leave the country again, that's literally the only period of time he pitched well this year

Honestly' date=' after Lopez had a 1-2-3 6th, I'm pretty surprised he didn't come back to pitch the7th.[/quote']

on 11 pitches no less
