Okajima hasn't been bad this year when no one is on base. Inherited runners is where he struggles. but tonight he just sucked at the beginning. Needed some more runs there in the top of the inning. That was just embarassing. Two little nublers right to the short stop.

Okajima has disappointed this season. It was expected (no one thought he'd be that good last year) but it's still wicked depressing.

1-0 0.72 ERA, 0.92 WHIP leads all releivers . Opponants just hitting 191VS him just awfull

the only problem he's had is letting inhereted run scored but i wouldnt blame it all on him since so far this year he been brought into games with bases loaded and no outs at least 3 times , of corse runs will score out of that

Dude, his IR numbers are awful. You can't ignore them. I appreciate what he did last year as much as the next guy but he's been a disappointment.

 

FYI his FIP is 3.05 and his xFIP is 3.59, meaning he's been lucky and is due for a regression, just like this evening.
