OK, "Suzuki" and "Matsuzaka" are their respective family names, but Ichiro was so well-known by his first name (kinda like "Manny" or "Nomar") that he got it put on his jersey. It started as a stunt in Japan in 1994, and at first Ichiro didn't like it, but it caught on and it was brought over to the US.

After a two hour and 27 minute rain delay, the Red Sox-Rays game has begun. Temperature at game time was a chilly and damp 46 degrees. The first pitch by Clay Buchholz was at 9:32 p.m.

3 hits and no runs through 4 from Buchholz (going off of MLB, can't connect to the tv portion for some reason). So that's not bad for Buchholz. If he can keep that up for 2-3 more innings we'd be set. Just need some run support please.
