Wow.

Oh, and Pau Gasol is making Nowitski look like Rick Mahorn. Talk about soft.

He really does. It won't be so noticable with Bynum in the future but for the time being... jesus...

What a game... way to dial up the defense. The Lakers defense was terrible throughout, in my opinion... even when they were playing "great", they gave up way too many open looks. They started to fall in the second half. By the way, what was that the Lakers called defense on the Ray Allen layup? Vujacic didn't really try to stay in front, but there was nobody near the rim to help him.

I am so proud of this team. So proud. I can't say anything. I can't remember a more satisfying win since game 7 of the ALCS. No more satisfying play that Rayrays drive and basket since Pedroia's bomb. Love this team. One more, guys. Keep playing.

Vujacic was the only one who complained about the officiating after the game. Pathetic...even Kobe and Phil didn't whine.

Kobe dished out his fair share during the game to be honest.

And how about the Doctor out coaching Phil?!?!?

Holy hell, that was absolutely amazing. I'm still pumped up. Haha Kobe was so bitter during the interview. Whats he going to do? "Whine about it tonight ... lot of wine ... lot of beer ... couple shots ... maybe like 20 of 'em."

Great Vujacic .gif! I bet he thought someone was trying to do one of those neck grab pass out things from his days in the KGB. That's why he flipped.

How arrogant is Stern? You'd think with all of the controversy surrounding the Donaghy thing that Dick Bavetta would be nowhere near game 5 of the NBA Finals.

Oh, wait.

Good game, still hate the officiating, but hey the Lakers have their backs against the wall at HOME, with the refs on their side, and they still have to fight for it. I expected the celts to be blown out tonight, and no doubt they'll win game 6 back in Boston.

I can't for the life of me figure out how that is a non-call on the Bryant steal. It was right there, in plain view, not an at-the-basket contact play, and it was on the biggest possession of the game. There's no way that's not a foul given the way they were calling the game, and they were calling it tight both ways. It sent the game into fouls/freethrows, and the Lakers hit their attempts at the stripe, so that play was the game. I'll repeat what I said earlier, I can't take this league seriously.

It was the turning point and a horrendous non-call. Similar to you, this type of travesty makes it very difficult for me to commit to this league as a fan.
