Youk strikes out in 3 pitches. I like the look he gives to the umpire if they call a strike on him. It's like - 'I am the god of strike zone - how dare you do that to me?'

Its actually amazing what we have acheived with this piss poor offence. Our powerhouse was down entire year - Ortiz having shoulder problems and Manny not being Manny.

its not a piss poor offense. theyve had dry spells but f***, even the yankees have as well. theyve hit well lately and tonight, theyre running into the guy they can never hit

Feel free to disagree with me. Someone who watched every game from 2003-2005 - this offence is piss poor for me.

I will always have lofty expectations from the Sox. Anyway - red sox are 7th in hits in ML this year and 18th in home runs scored. Compared to previous years( not last year) that's a culture shock for me that is hard to digest.

Among teams that have hit more home run than the Red Sox - Houston and San Diego. I thought the Padres have a ball park as big as Manhattan.

Coco keeps adding to his resume to get Gold Glove. I still think Francona went a bit over the top when he said Coco is the best CF that he has ever seen.

This is a pathetic loss.

Schilling pitched well tonight. But as usually, NO GODDAMN RUN SUPPORT.

I mean come on, it's getting sickening to watch that sort of s***.

We got some hits, but no one seemed to be able to knock in a run.

f***ing rediculous.

If Manny was in at full health, and if Papi was feeling better, we would have won this game, and would have a 6 game lead over the Yankees right now.

But NooooOOOOoooOOOOooo.

The OFFENSE has to s*** the bed and run for the hills and cost a game.

Needed a hit from Ellsbury - he had a bad game.

Auto out Cora coming up.

Thought youd like this summary from rotoworld

Curt Schilling limited the Rays to one run over six innings on Monday, but he still took the loss as the Red Sox were shut out for the sixth time this season.

It's hardly a coincidence that four of those shutouts have come during Cora's 49 starts. The Red Sox have been blanked twice in their remaining 96 games. Schilling is winless in his last three outings, despite delivering quality starts each time. Again not a coincidence, this is the third time in a row that Cora has started with Schilling on the mound.

What a wonderful lineup. This can go to show that without Papi and Manny' date=' this team doesnt hit.[/quote']

it also shows for the 65847th time that when Kazmir pitches, even with Papi and Manny in the lineup, it doesnt hit
