KEVIN f***ING YOUKILIS.

Second half slump my ass

youk has been the worst hitter for the sox since the all star break, he's batting 209. hopefully today's performance will kick start him and he'll start rolling. we need youk to hit like he did the first half if we want to go far in the playoffs

Looks like I'll have to make it a late night. The Yankee game just switched to "Warmup" on Gameday.

At this rate, with a 1 game gap in the West, the Angels are worth watching too. Thankfully, they are up 2-0 on the Amish twit.

Yesss a DH sweep makes the record 78-51, season high 27 games above .500

Just got home, posting stats for the hell of it. They have been updated from tonights kick ass game. The offense despite the brain fart in game 3 against the D-Rays has just been rolling along since the Angels series. With each start Schilling makes, he gets closer to his reliable self. Search party still going on for Gom? Since his rant the Sox will have been 4-1 in that stretch. Doesnt look like theyll get in the game tonight for the Yankees, so the Sox will begin tomorrow with at least a 6 game lead
