I wouldn't be so quick to deal him. He has shown good stuff at times, although I understand he has a lot of weaknesses. I don't want him to become the next Jose Contreras (although he's not that good right now).

And Jackson, you don't have to post a "he has positive stuff to say about Kei Igawa, yet he trashes Wang?!?!", comment.

 

I agree with you. I said so much a few weeks back when he was rumored to be dealt to Seattle. I think he will put it together eventually, I am just not sure he will ever do it in NY.

Yeah, I mean, it would be kind of a waste of time to post some of his statistics, if you're trying to say anything good about him, but I think he definitely has positives.

 

His fastball showed good velocity, although he had a tendancy to leave it in the middle of the plate. After he came back from his minor league stint, he certainly showed improvement with his changeup and slider. However, I think he should consider dropping the curve out of his pitch selection, if he doesn't improve it, because everytime he threw it it either seemed to hang over the middle of the plate or float up high.
