I would love it if I didn't have to watch Cleveland's announcers. They aren't as bad as the ChiSox, but they are pretty annoying tonight and talking a fair amount of s***. They seem fairly sure of themselves.

I almost just want Cora to get out here so we have the full top third of our lineup up to start the ninth.

I don't even know who I want up for this team right now. A double by Cora with crisp at the bat, then--at worst--Pedroia, Ortiz and Manny.

Lugo should pinch run. VMART isn't that good of an arm, if I remember.

Fair enough. I guess I just hate splitting up the lineup if Cora getting on is all for naught. Can't say I'm complaining though with Lugo now on first.

Show me something Coco.

You and me both! Not as bad as Hawk, but get closer as their team loses....etc....

I want NESN!

Good job Cora........c'mon Coco!

Carmona looks like he's starting to lose the plate. Stay patient guys.

I agree. I almost got on Crisp for not swinging at 2-0.

Damn it! Lugo thrown out trying to steal, Crisp with the little-league approach of pretending to bunt instead of RIPPING that strike for a double down the right field line. f***!

At least Crisp is still coming up next inning.

If they were going to foil that opportunity, thankfully Crisp is still leading off next inning, like you said.

I think Carmona's done. Borowski isn't too special so they should be able to score at least one, hopefully. Then again, ninth inning comebacks aren't this team's specialty this year (unless they can get errors galore from the opposing team on Mother's Day) ...

Yet. This is the time of year that teams start defining themselves.

This has been a VERY impressive series in Cleveland for both teams, but I think the Sox have really shown something, going aginst the team with the best home record in baseball and getting at least 2, getting at least a split. Their pitching seems like its for real.

Sabathia and Carmona right now are not pitchers that it is worth beating ourselves up about. They are good pitchers who are both pitching very well. Like Beckett and DiceK. Lester's victory was impressive.

WHY is everyone whining?

there is a difference between losing the game and getting beaten. The sox are losing this game right now by playing stupidly. And if it wasnt for a misread ball in LF yesterday, the sox would be going on 17+ consecutive scoreless innings.

It's one thing to get beat. This team is wasting the limited opportunities Carmona has allowed. Crisp trying to go home was stupid. Hit and run with Varitek was stupid. Sending Lugo on 3-1 with 2 outs was stupid. That's not getting beat, that's giving it away.

Against two very good pitchers. If it wasn't for a single pitch the Guardians would be going on more consecutive scoreless innings.

These mistakes are magnified in a tight game like this. I don't think this team is overly stupid, actually. For the most part they play fundamentally sound ball. It just stings when it is in a close game and doesn't go your way.

Because these are stupid mistakes. They've been quite good as a whole recently' date=' but they've been dumbasses on the bases tonight.[/quote']

s*** happens, s*** sucks....can't change it now.

Beckett is MONEY

We have one more chance at the plate.....

We've taken 2 so far from the team with the best home record. With Lester and Dice-K.

Be positive mutha facka's.......

COME ON BATS!!!!!!!!
