There have been rumblings of tampering by the Twins, I had heard. I know the Yankees have made as many overtures as possible without crossing the lines to Joe Nathan as a potential Mariano replacement.

Last guy I would want us to sign is CC. Weight problems, other health issues, and has never pitched 200 innings in his career. Has had just enough success to command a major pay day.

This rumor is BS. To think Theo will trade his prize possesion(Buchholz) is nuts. Eveyone else might be available for the right player. Bowden,Ellsbury are guys how are almost untouchable, but if a great deal came along they might be able to get them. I don't think Buchholz gets moved for anyone thats not Santanna. Buchholz is probably the biggestpitching prospect int he minors at the moment. With Hughes and Bailey making the ML debut.

He's an ok strikeout pitcher with meh walk rates, his 2005 season his walk rate was excellent but since then its on the rise to the point this year where he looks like he'll get bombed in the AL. Haha, Buchholz is going to be an amazing pitcher, but look at what Cabrera has done in a relatively short career.

 

The guy is a HoF talent. I make that move 10 times out of 10.

I think Willis will end up walking. His trade value is so low right now. He lost again last night. If they trade Cabrera and don't get three superb young players, they got owned.

Very well may be, as neither have I. Friend claimed he heard it on ESPN, even though I haven't heard anything about it. However, it didn't sound like it was made-up (i.e. Cabrera for Wily Mo straight up) and I figured maybe it would be on their website later, though it has not shown up anywhere.
