I've never said anything about Ellsbury.

 

And I admit, I said he sucked, but like I said, IF he can keep up what he did tonight, then we're sound with a line-up.

 

Back to the game... despite a major offensive explosion, Beckett's arm has been resting this entire time... That may not be a good thing.

I haven't seen too many people saying Ellsbury should start right now. I have probably been Ellsbury's biggest advocate in these parts, and even I don't think he should be starting. Of course, I don't think you will find me saying much against Crisp either. I tend to cut players a lot of slack, attribute slumps and hot streaks to deviations from a well-established mean, and use that mean to predict how a player will do in the future.

 

Coco is definitely heating up and will have his numbers in a healthy place when the season is over if he keeps this up.
