i cant remember the last time this team actually strung together some hits together to score some runs. they get their fair share of hits but i'm talking hit, after hit, after hit, after hit, and not giving in. it's beginning to get real frustrating.

 

actually the last time i remember a strign of consecutive hits to drive in some runs was the back to back to back to back night.

Sox have scored just 2 runs or less in 10 out of their last 19 games. Just 3 Homeruns in their last 9 games (Varitek, Hinske, Youkilis)

Hopefully this weekend will be a wakeup call for Theo to realize this team needs reinforcing. We can't have the offense shut down completely when Manny and Ortiz slump at the same time. After tomorrow, he should realize that the pitching needs reinforcing if Schilling falters. Also the bullpen needs to be addressed if Donelly keeps having the forearm pain.

I don't know. There's not a lot of hitters being publicly shopped. Theo will have to get creative.
