The pads are just sloppy. Peavy's location is bad, he didn't show up today and the Pads D is looking suspect at best.

Cora for shortstop' date=' Lugo for batboy? Anyone?[/quote']

He'd be the most expensive bat boy in League history but I think we'd get more for our money with him there.

Didn't Mike Cameron bunt for a hit last night? He got on base, but haha...he's their cleanup hitter.

Nice catch by Branyan there. Nice to see Tek spank that ball anyway though.

It took a great over the head ctach by Branyan to stop varitek from possibly having a 2 run double. Sox made Peavy throw 38 pitches, 72 through 3! And he is expected to bat this inning as well, its not looking like a good day for jake

Did he actually throw it that hard or do you think it was something up with the gun? I didn't catch it, I was making myself a quite delicious sandwich that I am now sharing with my keyboard. Goddamn mustard all over my fingers.

Lugo is terrible, so I have made the proper adjustments to my signature in hopes that Theo peruses the internet for fan opinion and sees my obvious disapproval. I hope it means something to him.

Kouzmanoff throws like a girl, anyone agree?

I almost feel sorry for what Lugo's going to get from the fans back in Boston. Almost. He's so lucky that he isn't playing at home right now.

Seriously. It's not like he's trying to suck and wants to suck....it just sucks!

Nice hit Josh!

Crisp is even making good loud outs. You know a guy is really hot (or bouncing back) when even their outs are loud. Good solid contact by Crisp, not something we've seen from him yet this season. Good for him.

Renteria's defense aside, he still had a good offensive season. .276, 8 Hrs, 72 RBIs, 100 Runs. Shortstop in 2008 is looking like a question mark for the 4th offseason in a row

Maybe Cora can tell Lugo about what its like to be on the bases and spark some curiosity in him and maybe he'll try getting on base.

I was never in favor of letting go of Renteria. They really s*** the bed with him.

You'd think Tito's man-crush on Cora would make him play Cora a bit more on a regular basis than Lugo. Instead, Tito's showing that he's actually just stubborn.

He hated it in Boston. He's better off where he is and doing very well.

I wish we still had Orlando Cabrera
