Jay Witasick who had a 3.60 ERA this year with the A's (2.25 ERA in May) asked to be released. Might Theo try to swoop him up to try him out in the ever-revolving 7th inning setup role?

I know Witasick has always been Witasick. I should have quoted the article on who was going to replace him on the roster.

 

I remember Witasick's terrible numbers with the Royals and wondering how he still has a job in the bigs.
