Latest Post Button

OK, so there is a little arrow next to last post when you are looking at the forums, such as your User CP, New Posts, ect. When I click this arrow, it brings me to the newest post in that thread. However, it doesn't take into account that there may be a lot more posts I haven't read before the newest one. I am finding myself scrolling back pages to locate the latest post I have actually read.

 

Is there a different button for the latest post looked at? And does that even make sense because it was really hard to explain.

Usually if you just click on the thread name it should take you to the first unread post, that latest post button just takes you to the last one.

lately mines been acting wierd. When I click on the thread title instead of bringing me to the newest post it brings me to an early page every time (same spot) instead of newest post or last read.

Yeah the thread link just brings me to the beginning of the thread. That's what it does in every other vBulletin based forum I have ever seen, too. :dunno:

So this just started happening recently, as in the past couple days? I've made some behind-the-scenes changes which may have affected it.

I never really noticed it much before. But I've been posting more lately, and the past few weeks I have been an active member again, that thread link just goes to the first post. It surprises me that it ever did anything different, just from other vBulletin forums I have frequented. Is it some sort of add-on that makes it do that?
