Joba mowed through them with ease.

That he did. Ugh, nice play by Inge.

Lol, I'm thinking about calling in sick tomorrow, especially if they lose this game.

Wow, Johnny is really a joke against lefties this year.

Damon vs. LHP this year: .264 AVG, .344 OBP, .336 SLG, 1 HR, 11 RBIs

EDIT: Oh my god, it's Crazy Kyle. I just hope Joba is not hurt, but it's more likely that they just don't want to lose him for two days.

Well, he's in the dugout watching the game, so there doesn't appear to be any type of injury.

The AVG and OBP aren't too much better against Righties bu the HR's and RBI's... wow.

Farnsworth for the eighth.

Yeah, I mean I realize he's facing lefties less than righties, but still, those numbers are extremely low.

On top of that, it's pretty scary that his OBP is higher than his SLG, and it's not like it's by one point.

Wow, great inning for Farnsworth. The Yankees have the heart of their order coming up. If they can just scratch across a run and then Mo holds down the Tigers, I can sleep well tonight.

EDIT: By the way, if this game goes long, the Yankees really are not set up too well considering they've already used Ramirez, Joba, and Farnsworth.

Memo to Torre here...DON'T BUNT! That will take the bat out of A-Rod's hands.

EDIT 2: It's official, Joe Torre does not understand baseball.

Wow, Jorge has got to keep his cool, but the 1-1 pitch was definitely a ball, although the 1-2 pitch was a good one.

On top of, the two called strikes on Matsui in the seventh were awful calls.

EDIT: I try not to complain about balls and strikes, but those were three really bad calls. However, Posada has got to keep his cool in a tie game.

Yeah' date=' Posada may have a case but he should've kept his cool. Credit to Rodney.[/quote']

Agreed. It's raining again. This is ridiculous. The crowd is also really into it. I don't see Vizcaino escaping this inning, although I'll be glad if I'm wrong.

Nuts, I missed the game. Cable/internet has been off and on all week while they upgrade the regional system. Both cut out at 12:00 last night. At least the result is good. Keep it up Tigs.

The Yankees see the first Sox game, done 11-3.

They get prepared for their game, 4 hour rain delay stops them. To bide their time they root for the White Sox to beat the Red Sox in game 2. Boston takes a score of 10-1, Done.

Yankees go 11 innings into the early morning just to have a walkoff homerun end the long grueling night. Result 6.5 games back
