and it is not just a horizontal plane slider. The bottom drops out of it. And if that isnt enough, he has that nose to toes 85mph curveball. If that isnt enough, he has a 99mph 4 seamer and a 98mph 2 seamer. And if that isnt enough, he has an 85mph changeup that moves a foot.

 

And btw, the sox havent hit a ball out of the infield. I dont even want to think what this kids potential is.

 

Duddy wants nothing to do with this AB and Felix walks him. Pedroia was flinching at every pitch.

He's got good heat, but I don't trust ESPN's gun. I've watched several of his starts and he sits at 96-98. I know, I know, not a big drop-off, but he doesn't have 100 mph gas.

ESPN said that he hit 100 once, but is sitting at 98. ESPN sucks though. What I find interesting though, is how free and easy it is. You can tell Dice K puts everything he has into his heat. Felix looks like he is just playing catch at 98mph.

YES toned it down in Randy's second yr. Now the YES gun is probably very accurate. No way they juice it now. Or Muss was throwing 70s last week, and I dont think that is the case.
