I thought you couldnt deal a player who was signed as a FA until June 15th.

Can if they agree. Since so much of his money is tied to Games Finished incentives, I doubt he puts up much resistance. Unless he wants to win.

thing is, why deal Pineiro if he is pitching well. Hell, the sox owe it to themselves to see what he can do as their middle relief is terrible on paper. If they deal him and he becomes the closer in Cincy, they will regret it. Even though I think Pineiro is terrible and will suck, the sox should see what they have. I have been wrong (many times ) before.

I'm just wondering who they can actually get for Pineiro, I mean, he is really that big of a value... I dont think so... he's shown some good stuff out of the pen, but was only late last year... he doesnt look to be anything valuable on the trade market IMO...
