great, our set-up man is getting hurt before the season starts, again...

Didn't Pujols stay out for awhile with an oblique strain last year? I hope it's not as serious has Pujols'...

He's 41 this year, it was expected to see him breaking down little by little especially after last season. It just means the free agent pickups & young guns have to step their presence up a notch. Guys have faith in Donnelly, I believe he's going to be one of the best relievers this year for Boston

called it a cramp, but they will be extra cautious with him.

Jackson, well you guys lost Abreu and Sanchez so we have to try and match your by having one of our guys go lame. It only means we have to have another go by the boards to even the score.

Actually Timlin said on NESN that he thinks it's nothing serious but it is wise the Red Sox are going to be cautious with him. He apparently is in the mix for the closer position that I sure as hell hope someone wins in ST so we don't have to put Paps back in there.

Riverside, Donnelly acts like a caged lion out on the mound. I have enjoyed watching him pitch is some of the games I've attended in Anaheim ( the wife is an Angels fan). I think that barring unforseen circumstances he is going to be a very valuable addition to our bullpen. He battles every batter and loves tough situations. He and Okajima ought to really help what was a very weak spot for us last season, and hopefully Timlin will be back in there within a week or so.
