Blue Jays sign John Thomson

Not sure if anyone has heard about this. Toronto has inked veteran starter John Thomson to a 1 year contract. For all the hoopla this offseason has been, Thomson's contract is just $500,000. Even with incentives included, its ones of the best contracts (money-wise) handed out this offseason

Eh, low risk move I suppose. I remember when there was some hype for him down in Atlanta a few years back...don't exactly remember what happened to him...he seemed to fall off the face of the earth. Whatever though, let's just hope he doesn't turn into one of those damned Sox killers.
