30-16!! wooo

Now defense just hold them down to officially seal it :)

this is not the team that can come back from a 14 point deficit. They prey on other teams' mistakes. Yet their mistakes hurt big time. That backwards pass was killer. That was at least a field goal drive for the Jets yet the Pats got the FG. That play took this game from a one score game to a two score, and sealed it. Vince Wilfork should be the MVP.

eh im just being cautious and not too full of myself, with respect to Jets fans who frequent this board

EDIT: Assante Samuel haha damn!! Ok jackson now I'll admit this game is over. Im trying to appreciate these possible last moments of seeing Samuel in a Pats uniform :( Lets be real here: he's a free agent after the playoffs who is having quite the career year, teams will be willing to cough up some dough for who has been our best back the past 2 seasons, and the Patriots' FO motto is not to fall in love with their players

I would hope we make an attempt to keep Asante, since he has been head and shoulders the best cover guy on the team. We really need to get another cover guy in my opinion.

Good luck with Tomlinson next week...I can't imagine a run defense that allowed Leon Washington to gain 4.5 yard per carry being able to stop the greatest rusher of our generation. Also, watch out for the Jets next year...we have some money to spend in the offseason and a solid core of young players returning.

By the way, did anyone else see Belichick grab a reporter by the neck and push him just so he could get his picture on the front cover of every newspaper...wow.

Your team just lost. You completely fabricated the reporter story. That's how it's bitter.

Um...did you not see it?

Yeah, that's why I'm saying you fabricated it.

Saying that he choked the cameraman, because he wanted his picture in the paper? That's an entirely off-base accusation.

He didnt do that to get his picture on the front page. The reporter bumped into him good, Belicihick on reaction pushed him with his arm. God he didnt grab him by his neck. He was trying to make his way to Mangini and appropiately give him a hug. He doesnt care about his picture being taken, he just cares about if his team wins. Even when they do win, he will focus on what they did wrong.

Oooh ahhh everyone marvel at Leon Washington's 11 rushes for 50 yards, and the team's overall rushing of 16 attempts for 70 yards. Let alone Washington's 4.5 carry is marred by the 2 longest rushes of the day coming in the 4th quarter of 11, 19 yards

Hmm, let me see. Your team gets spanked, so you come back with the typical sarcastic, "Good luck next week against......[fill in the blank].....who's going to kick your ass". Then comes another typical bitter line, "Watch out for my team next year". And you top it off with an offbase and incorrect rant against the opposing coach. Yeah, it's bitter. Be a man, admit it. Although, it's not like it matters if you do, because everyone else can see it's bitterness driving your remarks.

It has started already :(

rotoworld

Cornerback and impending free agent Asante Samuel is upset with the Patriots' most recent contract proposal.

"We've talked to them about a new contract," Samuel, who has a tattoo that reads Get Paid, said. "What they offered isn't even worth discussing." Tennessee has been mentioned as a possible landing spot and, as great a story as Hank Poteat is, we can't see the Jets not taking a look.

Yeah OMG that's so Bill. Hurt everyone at the bottom rungs of the ladder to get publicity.

He wanted to shake hands with Mangini.

My buddy who is a pats fan called me and said "Did you just see Belichek with that reporter!" So he isnt making it up. He did grab him and push him out of the way, but when you are a dumbass reported standing directly in the way of Belichek as he goes to shake Mangini's hand, then you deserve what you get.

I can't disagree with him there' date=' however.[/quote']

Me either, for the most part. Whether or not it's likely to happen is irrelevant to me, though. Sore losers say crap like that after their team got spanked. He didn't once give the Pats credit for a good game or taking his team to the woodshed. He immediately tried to piss in the punchbowl. Bitter and petty.

Note, this is coming from a non-Pats fan, so his comments mean bubkus to my emotional well being. I just call it like I see it.
