Saban's entire intention is money and getting as much media time as possible apparently. Eventually, people will quit hiring him due to his inability to stick with something.

Actually, I think he wants to raise his family in a more college-oriented town. It's not a bad thing. He's going to have fun, his family will have a good time, he got a nice salary, and he's going to be happy. Why not make the move?

It's a business. He has the right to do what he wants which may or not come with constant bickering from fans of his ex-team. In this case, expect bitching from Dolphins fans for the next decade or two.

Nick, I thought you were all about honesty and integrity? I guess that's were Dante Culpepper learned to say that he's dedicated to football with a straight face.

saban is a f***ing mercenary

theres nothing wrong with baton rouge

nothing wrong with lansing michigan

certainly nothing wrong over in coral cables or miami springs

this guy thinks he invented football

that may fly on the college stage but in the nfl everyone works just as hard

as far as refering to the family goes??

his family is his staff

these guys have no life outside Xs and Os

his family maybe better off in tuscaloosa

ive been to both places

if i were able to earn there what i earn here i'd be in miami tommorow

if mobile alabama were the ******* of the universe(its not by the way)

tuscaloosa is about 150 miles into the anus

I really have no idea about Saban's motivations, I haven't followed the story much. But isn't it better to be a good NFL coach than a good college coach? Saban has done a pretty good job in Miami, and if they got a real quarterback I thought they could contend.

Yeah but it's better to be a great college coach than a pretty good NFL coach, which is where Saban pretty much stands right now since he's not even at .500 with the Dolphins and his teams have made runs when there season was already over. I think this situation is identical to Pete Carrolls.

At least the Patriots dont have to worry about a tough game from the Fins anymore.....see ya later Saban.

When the Dolphins were 4-12 (the year Brady threw an interception from his ass, allowing the Dolphins to cap a 14 point comeback), Jim Bates was the coach, who, in my opinion, would be an excellent choice to return to the organization. He has a strong rapport with the members of the defense, but he probably needs to be paired with a strong offensive coordinator. (Maybe Ken Wisenhunt?)
