question regaridng this board

I'm new here and plan to visit this board regularly, but the board has been slow over the last week or so...is this because it's offseason and therefore the board activity will pick up significantly by the Spring ?.

Not sure, I am new in town as well. Probably because of dead time in baseball plus the holidays. The hot stove has cooled as well. If you want to see it lively, come on when a big yankee or sox move gets done. If the sox nab a closer, if the yankees finalize a Unit move, when Clemens signs in NY, etc. Come back and a lot of people will be here, I would assume.

Pretty much what Jackson said, but you've been here 4 days and this site doesn't suit your speed ? You've made 2 posts and one was to question the activity level. I'm not coming down on you, but this or any site is what the members make it. If you have news or opinions post them. I'm sure you will get comments and discussions. Other sports and topics are more active right now.

It's true though, this time of year is known to be slow around these parts. But it'll pick up.

Yes, this board definitely picks up around baseball season. Red Sox board...fans come to talk about the Red Sox...should make sense. Personally, I'm bored as hell reading thread after thread about J.D Drew and the bullpen when nothing is settled yet so that's why the off-topic and other sports sections are busy now.

theres nothing better than the NFL playoffs (well except baseball) i cant wait for the weekend eventough my team isnt in it
