Did the Brewers really sign Suppan for $42 Mil or am I high or something. I don't even remember where I read it.

Wow they did. That's a lot for a potential 4/5 starter at best. I can't wait until he's 10-12 with an ERA northward of 5.

I don't understand Melvin's reasoning, and I actually thought he was a good GM before he botched the Lee trade.

 

He can't seriously base this signing on wins.

I think Suppan could be a decent 3 or 4 in the NL, but 42 million is ridiculous. I guess you can't be surprised by signings like this the way this offseason is going.
