ESPN's Buster Olney is reporting the White Sox and Devil Rays have agreed on a trade that will send Mark Buehrle, Heath Philips, and Casey Rogowski for Carl Crawford

Say what you want about Buerhle, but Crawford is a top 10 outfield talent who is cost controlled over the next couple of years. Great pickup.

Agreed. It isn't really a move they would make. They do have some good outfield talent but they could get someone younger, cheaper and better than Buehrle.

this is a 20 triple 25hr 100rbi 50sb type of player

 

i think both teams fill holes here and i think the chisox may have done a bit better competetively but tampa wouldve lost him anyways down the road

both teams are arguably better at this time

Crawford's under their control for 4 more years though (I think), he's cost effective, and as people have said he could have netted a better pitcher than Mark Buehrle.

 

Like I said before, IF TRUE, it's a complete steal for the White Sox.

I agree, it was rumored to be Mcarthy for crawford. I said at that time it was a bad trade and CHW would have to throw more in then Mcarthy. Know they get a worse deal? Crawford is a hell of a player, if this is true, Kenny Williams should be arrested for grand theft OF.
