Good for him. Matthews is a good player, and i'm happy he's finally gotten some recognition the past year or two.

WTF are you talking about, Mathews had one good year, you dont give out 50 million to a career 4th OF. He is also 32 years old. This is going to kill the Angels.

one thing is over-paying for all-star level talent, but spending this kind of ridiculous jack for a middle of the road, slightly above medicore player is just plain stupid. shame on you bill stoneman and artie moreno.
