I think this would be a mistake. I think most of the Japenese infielders have shown they are not ready for prime time in the bigs.

Somehow some people can agree on that, but no one will admit the same about pitchers.

It wouldn't surprise me. I'm just not completely sold. I assume and hope that the Sox were involved. I was hoping to bring both Japanese players here.

Longoria and Brignac will be starting the year in AA, and Upton didn't look too impressive. I'm not saying that he doesn't have the tools, but he's a butcher in the field right now.

 

Good move for the D-Rays, IMO.

Upton is expected to be moved to the OF if the rays decide to deal Crawford. He cannot play the IF to save his life.
