Japan All Star Series

I dunno if anyone is actually paying attention to this or watching it but I have a big interest in this whole thing. It's kinda kool to see some of the best Japanese ball players go up against the guys in the majors. Ive been watching this thing since about 1996 and havent missed a year yet. I think it's a great way to promote the game overseas as well. They need to expand this though into the European countries maybe. Also I was wondering if anyone knew where I could find a Boxscore for last nights game so I can see who was in the game on the mound and how they did. I missed all of the game cause I had to go to work where I currently am and they don't seem to have a Boxscore anywhere on the internet.

I know they're all played at 4:00 am our time, but are any TV stations or MLB.TV replaying these games at a more normal time?

MLB.TV replays them on demand I believe u can choose to rewatch it at any time.

Like you, I follow it. Since 2002 I've kept up with this series. It's fun to watch the best of the best from the 2 best professional leagues in the world going up against each other.

anyone else like the idea of the world series champion taking on the japanese major league champion to decide who the real world champ is ?

I've always thought that was a good idea. But it would definately be a hassle to put together. If they were to play a series they obviously couldn't travel back and forth between games, so all the games would have to be helf in either Japan or America, and one team would complain about home field, etc. Just a boatload of things to address before putting something like that together. But I would definately love it.
